Heat load to EN 12831: why we do not add “margin”
Where the error starts
When the load is taken as area times a coefficient, the result is inflated. We calculate room by room: envelope, infiltration, ventilation.
Part load
Equipment spends most of its life between 30 and 60 per cent load. We select so efficiency does not collapse in that band.
What the budget gains
One size smaller often reduces cable, pipe and plant room area as well.
